Khit (continuous supplement weft) is local cloth of the northeastern part, commonly woven in the Tai-Lao ethnic group. In the past, Khit fabric was regarded as a sacred thing. Therefore, it was normally woven to use in Buddhism

"Keb Khit" (Preparing to weave Khit patterns using Mai Keb Khit) by using a flat polish bamboo stick with a single point end used to help pick the threads up call "Mai Keb Khit" then passes special weft yarn and beater after every pass. The artisan MAMA ED, she using only Mai Keb Khit for create the patterns because she want to create each pattern difference as an artist. It is the origin of the special In this shawls collection "Kà-Jìt"

190 Hours is the time required to complete the Kajit with the great intention of the weaver. Who dares to do things that have never been done. Every work will be done only once. The artist is Mama Ed. Using hand-spun cotton in the traditional way, both Warp & Weft, through the dyeing of Ebony, Indigo, Padauk, and En-mong leaves to make a pattern one by one yarn. The patterns from the wisdom within the community with traditional methods since the cotton cultivation, harvesting, spinning, dyeing, and weaving, this set have now reached the No.8 of the total 10 pieces intended.
